I'm a Social Philanthropist with solid beliefs based on solid education, life experience & research. I may occasionally be offensive due to content or funny depending on your mindset. My goal is to keep people well-informed on issues plaguing our society with personal & collective opinion (see my Social Politics blog). I'm a MA/PhD candidate in Urban, Environmental & Social policy. I strive to strike a balance with career, 2 teen girls & school. I'm a book nerd, crossword fanatic & bonafide fashionista. I mix low & high end items & I bargain shop to get the max for the minimum. I live for TJ Maxx, Marshalls, DSW, & other discounted shopping chains. That's the lowdown on ME as achiever. But now let me introduce you to the side of me that becomes problematic.

My name is Peaches (nickname since birth) & I am a shopaholic. But see, I buy within my budget which I've cleverly fit to my shopping habits. As I've already mentioned, I have 2 teens girls & they are fashionistas taken after the heart of their mom. My education is fully financed but theirs isn't & my oldest begins college in Fall 2011 (gasp). So I've been extra crafty in making sure that we spend within reason & only buy what's needed.  And just who DOESN'T need a $1,000 pair of Christian Louboutin 5" heels? I kid but if I had no common sense or order of priority...those babies would be MINE! Hence...my dream shoe.
