To clean makeup brushes, pour a mild household liquid soap, like baby shampoo or ivory liquid soap, into the palm of your hand and mix with water. Use your hand as a cup for the warm, soapy water and swirl brushes in your palm until they are clean. Rinse well, then gently squeeze excess water from the brush and let air dry.
